Gordon had the time of his life in Carson City, Michigan, landing first at the public library. He told his story to a number of children and parents gathered around to hear how he recovered from being a junk food junkie. The children listened carefully to what he eats now. Then we all said together with Gordon all the healthy choices of food from each color of the rainbow.

From there Gordon flew just one city block to Seven Sisters Quilt Shop. A quilt spread on the floor was a great way for Gordon to get to know more of the children. We met and told his story to four groups of children who listened intently. Many adults stopped by and peeked in on us. Each was eager to learn all about healthy seagull AND people choices for eating. What a fun day we had.
