After a second stop in Carson City, this time at St. Mary's Bazaar, Gordon was ready to see children again. He perched on top of the car as we drove to East Olive Elementary in St. Johns, Michigan enjoying the country scenery along the way.
Gordon first met the students in grades three through six answering all their questions and keeping up a dialogue on healthy choices.
Next Gordon told his story to all kindergarten through second grade children. Many stopped by for an autographed copy. Some even accepted a chance to have their picture taken with Gordon and some the the creepy crawlers that live by the ocean. Gordon made a positive impression on these children.
