School Time Again

The third graders at Scott School in DeWitt were the first to extend Gordon an invitation. Six different classrooms stopped by to hear Gordon's story and learn about choices. These children quickly grasped the idea of the difference between a snack and a treat. So eager were these learners, that Gordon even showed them how to divide their plate for portion control.

Flying Past Summer Into Fall

In August Gordon landed in Maple Rapids to help the Summer Reading Club children celebrate the grand finale. He waited patiently while a magician tricked the audience with sleight of hand. "Ooohs" and "aaahs" were heard all around the room as objects appeared out of nowhere. When Gordon finally flew to the front of the room, the children were thrilled to see him and listened intently to making healthy decisions. Many parents and children stopped by to get an autographed copy.
